The Amazon Equatorial Institute is a non-governmental Brazilian organization, nonprofit federal utility (MJ Case No. 08071.018534 / 2013-93). It was established in September 9, 2007, with the objective conditions and facilitate improvement to the people of the Amazon. Our mission is to promote sustainable development, environmental conservation and improving the quality of life of riverside communities in the Amazon. The Institute is open to the participation of companies, people and institutions committed to the promotion of sustainability of the Amazon.
