QhUTU (meaning "accumulation of things, tasks, ideas" in Aymara) is a new artistic-plastic language in traditional craftsmanship. QhUTU is the rescue and valorization of ancestral Aymara textile techniques and processes, creating unique pieces of clothing, handbags, and bags in the style of haute couture, combining loom weaving, iconography, and alpaca leather tanning (an unprecedented craft nationwide). Rescue of Aymara Cultural Heritage. Through training, production, dissemination, and marketing of one-of-a-kind pieces, 100% handmade by vulnerable women from the Arica and Parinacota Region, in northern Chile.
