Software as a service, known as SaaS, is a development model that employs the internet as its delivery and execution platform, as opposed to physically installing a program physically on clients' computers. A 2010 report by PROCOMER and FUNDES analyzes the factors that led to the successful internationalization of some SMEs, enabling them to export their products to outside markets.
