Uruguayan and foreign investments in the equine sector have spurred in recent years, mainly due to the rising interest in breeding and training horses for top level international competitions. One of the areas with more growth prospects is the training and breeding of horses for endurance competitions, a discipline consisting of resistance races running from 60 to 160 kilometers.  

It is precisely in this area where the training company, Pio Endurance, obtains the perfect Endurance horse formula from the breeding of Arabian and Anglo-Arabian horses with Raid thoroughbred stallions, undisputable winners in Equestrian Raid.
