The Government of Guatemala has received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for the Strengthening of the Institutional Network of Health Services Program (PRORISS) and intends to use part of these funds for the acquisition and installation of modular, prefabricated, and detachable health posts in the department of Huehuetenango.

The Government of Guatemala signed Loan Agreement 3849/OC-GU with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for the implementation of the "Strengthening and Modernization Program of the Public Prosecutor’s Office." The program aims to increase the efficiency of the Public Prosecutor’s Office to contribute to reducing impunity in Guatemala. This goal will be achieved by improving the efficiency of the handling of complaints and cases; enhancing the quality of accusation requests submitted to judges; and reducing internal response times and those for citizen services. 

The objective of the consultancy is to define and implement a sustainability strategy for the urban and rural infrastructure of Water and Sanitation built by the Potable Water and Sanitation Program for Human Development (Phase I), to ensure that the municipalities and INFOM/UNEPAR in coordination with municipalities - water boards/COCODES provide efficient and self-sustaining services to the population.
