Luis Martinez

Luis Martinez is a MBA graduate with ability to create, plan and develop successful projects within industrial and commercial areas. During the last 15 years, he has planned, executed and directed transaction related to international trade, international finance, investment banking, business promotion and growth strategy for Latin American And Foreign Companies. His experience also includes overseas commercial agreements, due diligence process, negotiation, cross cultural analysis, global mindset development, Chinese culture and etiquette, Asian history, investment promotion, export promotion and market entry strategy. During the last year, Mr. Martinez has been Key Note speaker for multiple investment congress and seminars, related to FDI and trade relationship between Latin America and China. To highlight, he was invited by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce to be the Key Note Speaker in the China and Latin America Outbound Investment Seminar held in Beijing on May 2011. Mr. Martinez also was selected by the Universidad de los Andes Alumni Association, to be the Key Note speaker in the 2011 annual congress addressing the threats and opportunities for Colombian companies due to Chinese economic rise. In 2015 Mr. Martinez was selected by the Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano to be part of the staff of the Asia Pacific Course for the tourism and hospitality entrepreneurs of the Alliance of the Pacific, and head professor for the China Lectures. Mr. Martinez is also advisor to many foreign companies searching for investment opportunities in Latin America, and of Colombian companies that are developing a growth strategy based on export and expansion plans.
