AFD-Chile is a firm dedicated to the commercialization of medical devices in the neuro-rehabilitation segment, focused on pathologies such as stroke, spinal cord injury, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis and gait & balance disorders. Among the technologies provided by AFD-Chile are Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) devices, therapeutic robotics & telemedicine, inertial sensors for the analysis of gait and balance, and implantable Transcutaneous Electrical Stimulation (TENS) devices. AFD-Chile is involved in Software development for health services using Internet of Medical Things (IoMT), as well as software services. AFD-Chile envisions to be able to provide state of the art technologies, either commercialized externally, or developed regionally that will facilitate the physical recovery of individuals with the pathologies mentioned, or provide efficient and economical aid through these devices to patients of all economic segments.
