AFD-Chile is a firm dedicated to the commercialization of medical devices in the neuro-rehabilitation segment, focused on pathologies such as stroke, spinal cord injury, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis and gait & balance disorders. Among the technologies provided by AFD-Chile are Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) devices, therapeutic robotics & telemedicine, inertial sensors for the analysis of gait and balance, and implantable Transcutaneous Electrical Stimulation (TENS) devices.
