The Company is the pioneer of molasses based ethanol production. Since its inception in 1982, the Company has produced well over 300 million litres of Ethanol at both 99.5%v/v and 96%v/v ethanol strength. The Company is the sole producer of potable (Extra-Neutral Spirit) alcohol that is used by the beverage, and pharmaceutical industries. Potable alcohol is the Company’s head line product. Besides this product, anhydrous alcohol (Fuel Ethanol), and Rectified alcohol for industrial applications are also produced.
Our mission is to attain an above target return on investment for the benefit of shareholders and other stakeholders through safe and efficient production and the supply of reference –quality ethanol and allied products on a sustainable basis.

The need
No one’s life should be limited by how they cook. Yet globally, three billion people depend on polluting open fires and inefficient stoves to cook their food, harming health, livelihoods, and the environment. Women and girls, who often spend hours cooking and collecting fuels, are disproportionately affected.

What we are doing
The Clean Cooking Alliance works with a global network of partners to build an industry that makes clean cooking accessible to families around the world. Established in 2010, the Alliance supports the development, sale, distribution, and consistent use of clean cooking solutions that transform lives by improving health, protecting the environment, creating jobs and income opportunities, and helping consumers save time and money.

How we do it
The Alliance is focused on four core pillars to accelerate clean cooking access:
Driving consumer demand for cleaner, more modern cookstoves and fuels by supporting behavior change and awareness raising interventions;
Building a pipeline of investible businesses capable of answering this demand with affordable, high-quality, appropriate clean cooking products;
Improving the policy environment by providing trusted, relevant data and advocating for regulations and policies that allow the industry to thrive; and
Increasing investment community participation and global engagement by providing market intelligence, delivering a clear path to action, and continuing to serve as the convener of the clean cooking sector.
