This guarantees that the customers’ goods will arrive safely in Rio Grande Port. Also, VBR’s drivers feel confident that they are driving safe and well maintained vehicles. VBR is concerned with all the aspects connected to good customer service. The company makes great investments in information technology to guarantee that the data are kept secure and easily accessible. In the month of April 2005, the company conquered the certification of ISO 9001:2000, granted for Bereau Veritas Quality International (BVQI). Respect for the environment is also a part of VBR’s work philosophy. That is why at VBR vehicle emissions are strictly controlled through periodic tests performed by the Sindicato das Empresas de Trasnportes de Cargas do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul (Setcergs).
