La Cámara de Comercio Aburrá Sur nació el 24 de Febrero de 1992 por petición de los comerciantes y los industriales de Caldas, Envigado, Itagüí, La Estrella y Sabaneta, los cinco Municipios que integran su circunscripción. Su carácter es privado, cuenta con autonomía propia y es una institución sin ánimo de lucro. Fiel a los preceptos que demarca la Ley, la Cámara se encarga, por delegación del Estado, de manejar los Registros Público Mercantil, Único Nacional de Proponentes y de Entidades Sin Ánimo de Lucro. Su labor, sin embargo, no termina ahí. Es así como en consonancia con su misión la Cámara revierte buena parte de los recursos en sus diferentes programas de apoyo empresarial y en diversos proyectos estratégicos socioeconómicos, culturales y ambientales, a nivel subregional y departamental. Toda esta labor es liderada por la Cámara de Comercio Aburrá Sur tomando en consideración las necesidades y expectativas de sus matriculados y afiliados, y una visión estratégica orientada esencialmente a la promoción integral de sus empresarios y comerciantes, al fortalecimiento del desarrollo organizacional, la internacionalización económica del Aburrá Sur y la promoción del desarrollo subregional. Nuestro interés es que nuestra comunidad empresarial y comercial nos conozca más; se acerque a nuestras sedes y disfrute de nuestros servicios.
