Development and Implementation of a Supervision and Teacher Accompaniment Plan for the Third Cycle of Basic Education in Honduras.

The consulting services ("the Services") to be contracted are in the field of education, and consist of the Development and Implementation of a Supervision and Teacher Accompaniment Plan for the Third Cycle of Basic Education in Honduras.

SCOPE AND DURATION OF SERVICES

The purpose of the consultancy is to strengthen teaching capacities through the articulation of the Supervision and Teaching Accompaniment Model approved by the Ministry of Education (SEDUC) with the Framework for Good Teaching; and its subsequent implementation and validation through a pilot, benefiting teachers, managers/facilitators and directors of the third cycle of Basic Education in the area of influence of the Youth Project; thus allowing the stimulation and development of the necessary competencies for life and work (21st century skills) in students of the third cycle of basic education.

The expected term for the execution of these services has been estimated in eighteen (18) months (including field visits in the intervention area of the Program during the execution of the services). The consultancy must be executed in Spanish.

PRESENTATION OF EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

Interested consultants must provide the following information in Spanish indicating that they are qualified to provide the services:

General Information of the Consultant: Document issued by competent authority of the country of origin of the consultant (or consultants in case of association), which accredits the legal personality and legal existence of the interested consultant; nationality, country of incorporation, main areas of activity/specialization, organization chart, description of the personnel it has, address/location, telephone, e-mail and name of the authorized representative (legal). In case of partnership, submit the above data for all members, and indicate the designation of the lead consultant and the name of the representative.

General Experience: Experience (in years) in teacher training, quality of learning and/or innovative models of teacher accompaniment. 

 Specific Experience:

- At least two (2) experiences in the design and accompaniment of teacher training strategies to achieve the development of soft skills with innovative approaches, in students.

- At least two (2) experiences in the development of teacher supervision and accompaniment programs that privilege training in practice.

- At least two (2) experiences in the use of technology to facilitate the process of supervision and teaching support.

There is no pre-established format for submitting this information. CVs are not required at this stage of the process. Each project of the specific experience must be accompanied by the documentation that evidences the veracity of the information provided, such as contracts with their respective settlements, minutes of reception or acceptance and/or certificates from the contractor, scientific publications, evaluation of results and/or impact, and any other documentation that reflects the name of the consultancies carried out, name of the consultant and the contractor, amount and date.

Consultants may participate independently, or may be associated in the form of joint ventures or subcontractors, in order to improve their qualifications. For the purposes of establishing the short list, the nationality of the consultant shall be that of the country in which it is legally incorporated or incorporated, and in the case of joint ventures, it shall be the nationality of the consultant designated as representative.
