Witralun
Company description
See translation
We are an online, native crafts store who offer throws (blankets) and other products, handmade by stick and loom, using 100% wool of Chilean Patagonian sheep. The wool used in our products is carefully selected from sheep of Punta Arenas and hand spun by local women. Further, the sticks and looms we use are manufactured from Raulí wood with the expertise and dedication of the craftsmen of the South of Chile (Villarrica). And the carefully chosen fabrics have been made with great dedication by experienced seamstresses. Finally, the origin of our name, Witralun, comes from the Mapuche culture, and means to warp in the Mapudungun Araucanian language.
