The company was founded on 12/20/1946 by a group of entrepreneurs in the city of Araricá / RS under the name of Schier, Krupp & cia Ltda. It started its activities in January of the following year, producing umbrellas and parasols. In the following years, it introduced the manufacture of planters, which became its flagship. In 1983, with a change in its membership, the company changed its name to Krupp Indústria Metalúrgica Ltda. Over the years it has consolidated itself in the market with the production of manual planters for cereals. In order to meet the needs of the producer, the company expanded its production.
