Sociedad Comercial Hinrichsen S.p.A., HINRICHSEN SPA, is a commercial company established in July 2007, under the name of Sociedad Comercial Hinrichsen Urenda y Compañía Limitada, with the purpose of undertaking business in small-scale mining in the region of Copiapó, Chile. In 2010 the company returned to the region of Valparaíso, where it began to develop an industrial recycling activity. Within this field, HINRICHSEN SPA dismantled the structure of two cranes MAN, of approximately 90 tons each, which were located on site Nº 8 of the Empresa Portuaria de Valparaíso (Valparaíso Port Company). This project made us proud, because it was done in half the time scheduled and without accidents. From 2011 to date our main activity is the recovery and recycling of industrial waste. In this field, we have recovered the copper from electrical wires for COVISA S.A., and nowadays, for COCESA S.A., two of the largest electrical wire manufacturers in Chile. Also, we are in the business of waste management such as ferrous and non-ferrous materials, plastics and other non-hazardous waste. HINRICHSEN SPA seeks to contribute to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), generating corporate training programs and consultancy for firms and organizations in order to incorporate the concept of sustainability into its management and positioning. HINRICHSEN SPA is aware of the importance of waste management, that is why our business focuses on the recovery, sorting and recycling of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, plastics and other non-hazardous waste, which are used to supply foundries and other production processes. Our company is committed to deliver these recycled materials in the best conditions, in order to reduce the waste to a minimum. WE WANT TO CONTRIBUTE TO A COUNTRY IN HARMONY WITH THE ENVIRONMENT AND BE AN EXAMPLE OF SUSTAINABLE ENTREPRENEURSHIP. Our services are in the field of waste management, the copper and other metals recovery (from electrical wires) and the corporate training programs and consultancy for firms and organizations in sustainability and environment.
