Chocolate Dreams Ltd. is a 100% Jamaican-owned Company which began as a sole trader in May 2004 Dreams operating out of a tiny two bedroom apartment. It was born as a home-based cottage industry. Many late nights saw Michelle Smith and her family and friends making and packing boxes for delivery to clients from a tiny kitchen. After being nominated for Best New Product for the Jamaica Observer Food Awards 2003, Chocolate Dreams ventured into a 900 square ft building sharing space with another company at 9 Roosevelt Avenue (Herb McKinley Road), Kingston 6 in May 2004.
