Cerveceria Clandestina
Company description
See translation
Clandestina is a Panamanian Craft Brewery. Our goal is to produce Panama’s beer of reference and brew a portfolio of quality and innovative beers. Clandestina was born out of the desire to have great craft beer in Panama and built upon the inspiration of our great-great grandfather, Juan Malek, who in 1904 opened Panama’s first brewery. To be able to achieve our vision, we knew that from the beginning we would need the best equipment and talent, as well as the ability to scale quickly. Our brewhouse was designed and built by Braukon, while our bottling machine is designed and built by Leibinger, both from Germany. We are located in Panamá Pacífico, district of Arraiján, Rep. of Panamá, about 2 km from Panama City, and near the Ports, which gives us the best possible location to serve national and export markets. Ownership: Clandestina has over 100 stakeholders due to an initial crowd-funding type of initiative to raise funds and participation from a large number of people who were interested in craft beers. The Quijano Family is the largest stockholding group.
