
About me
A Partner at Posadas, Posadas & Vecino currently at the head of the Notarial Area and specialized in Commercial, Corporate and Tax Law providing sound and insightful legal advice to local and international companies. In addition, I have represented companies in public calls for bids and in new undertakings, contributing expertise in corporate and taxation issues, both national and international. My in-depth practice includes financial transactions, loan structuring, real estate advice and notarial advice.
As part of my professional career I have worked at the Inter-American Development Bank, in Washington D.C. handling funding projects for Latin America and also worked as a foreign attorney at Arnold & Porter, at their offices in Washington D.C., where I provided counsel for global companies on Corporate and International Law.
In 2010 and 2011 I served as Controller at the Board of Nuevo Banco Comercial S.A. in Montevideo, Uruguay.
As an academic I was Teaching Assistant of Private Law II at Universidad de la República, Uruguay. In addition, I was also involved in the Legal English course taught at Universidad Católica del Uruguay.
I´ve been cited on international law publications such as Latin Lawyer for my experience and work in the field of Tax Law.
