Sobre mí
Throughout most of my 15+ year professional career, I have worked in international logistics companies. Now, I have decided to pivot my career towards entrepreneurship, leveraging all my experience as the foundation for this new role. When I was finishing my Business Administration degree at the National University of Colombia, I started working at a pharmaceutical laboratory as a cost analyst, a job that drifted away from my dream of learning about international trade. After two years, I had the fortune to travel to Barcelona and study about the global supply chain, which was my true passion, gaining not only technical knowledge and experience but also exercising my profession in a European country, learning about their culture and legislation. Upon returning to my country, I started a beautiful career at UPS, going from managing operations to becoming the commercial leader for Colombia and Ecuador. Then, a new opportunity arose to work as a commercial manager at Geodis. After a couple of years, I moved to the regional team as a solutions manager for LATAM and later for the entire Americas region, now based in Miami. Learning new things has always been my main motivator, which is why studying has been a fundamental part of my life. In addition to my Master's degree from the University of Barcelona, I studied a specialization in Strategic Supply Management at the University of the Andes and a certification in Corporate Innovation at Stanford University in the United States. The favorite part of my job has always been learning about other business models, as well as their challenges in managing their logistics operation, and creating a solution that supports their business growth. I have decided to leverage my education and work experience to launch this new venture. As the founder and CEO of Kontroll, I lead a software company that manages the logistics operation of businesses with multiple transportation and customs providers.
