The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Paraguay has received funding from the Inter-American Development Bank to cover the cost of the project "Support for the Expansion of the School Day and Improvement of Transportation Conditions for Students of Official Schools in the Rural Area." It is proposed to use part of this funding to make payments under the contract for the acquisition of books for classroom libraries.
