The objective of this consultancy is to generate measurable criteria that allows to track the progress countries are making towards international impact-reporting Monitoring, Reporting and Verification (MRV) standards to meet the requirements of the Enhanced Transparency Framework (ETF) and the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (KM‑GBF) as well as relevant market standards (and other relevant) recommendations, and to assess where Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) countries are with respect to their MRV systems, with a view to identify potential interventions to upgrade said systems.
