I had the opportunity to study Agribusiness Management in US for 2 years (1998-2000) I got an scholarship sponsored by USAID and the Guatemalan government. After I came back to Guatemala, I started to work in a local and small cooperative in the town where I live. I have more than 10 years running this business and now we export green coffee to several countries and develop some other activities in the coop (saving and micro credit +health and agricultural services). During this time, we have had the opportunity to participate in several seminars in Guatemala sponsored by CII/BID. Some representatives have seen our work and have help us to improve our skills participating in some events.
