Andrés Jerez

Hello, I'm Andrés Jerez and I´m student of engineering. I create new designs for tapestries and other textiles, also I'm photograper. In my freetime, I'm studying Artistic Drawing, Anthropology and Archeology, and also I took classes of these at university. My community consider me an entrepreneur and a good leader because I work in a team to create new textil designs. In my team, we are weaving to create beautiful tapestries, ponchos, sweaters, scarves, bags, cushions, cases, etc. using natural fibers from alpaca, sheep and agave. Also, we use natural dyes to create wonderful colours for fibers. Tourist who visit our workshops are amazed because we conserved and saved ancient knowleages for weave and dye.
