Cecilia Iros

For more than 20 years in the localization business, Cecilia has helped companies of all sizes and from a variety of industries reach new markets in the languages of their potential customers. Born and raised in Córdoba, Argentina, she founded her first company as soon as she graduated in Spanish Translation from the National University of Córdoba with two passions in mind: translation and training. Performed all the different roles in a translation and localization company, ranging from translation, editing, and review, to project management, vendor management, and business development. Soon, her translation company was leading the translation and localization industry in Latin America. After 13 years, she took on a new challenge and created SumaLatam, a solid Latin American Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese translation and localization services provider serving clients around the world. Cecilia has been actively involved in the organization of more than 30 training events for translators and translation companies in six countries, and has given presentations on a variety of topics at several events.
