I am the Managing Director of Kostas Falangas Hotel & Tourism Consulting as well as the advisor to many hotel and tourism organizations. I guide clients at a national and European level on various projects, including financial management, operations, and more complex projects in the hotel and tourism industry. I am a hotel and tourism expert in general management and development of hotel assets and tourism organizations. Analytical and multifaceted in hotel and tourism management, with expertise in all areas of financial management, marketing, quality assurance, project management, and daily operations for over 25 years. Managed all aspects of hotel and tourism operations and the needs of the hotel business to ensure financial viability and achieve objectives. Expertise in team leadership, analysis, financial reporting, streamlining, and improving processes; improving productivity; and implementing technological solutions. Exceptional communicator; able to establish and strengthen strong relationships with staff, clients, suppliers, tour operators, and authorities. Has general knowledge in architecture as well as expertise in managing sustainable extension and construction projects in the hospitality and residential sector. Graduated in Hotel Management and Tourism from Glion Hotel & Tourism Management in Switzerland, and specialized in Finance and Marketing from the Metropolitan Business School of London. I am also a member of various associations: American-Greek Chamber of Commerce, Hellenic Chamber of Hotels, Hotel Marketing Association, European Finance Association, Global Sustainable Tourism Council, Energy Managers Association, GLG network, Chamber of Commerce and Industry France-Greece, elected member of the Chamber of Commerce of Rethymnon, and Hotel Managers Association of Crete (Greece).
