I am the founder and leader of Niebla Colombian Specialty Coffee, a company dedicated to transforming the specialty coffee industry through direct trade, sustainable practices, and quality innovation. My work focuses on building strong relationships with coffee producers, ensuring fair compensation, and co-developing advanced processing methods to enhance coffee profiles. With extensive experience in the coffee sector, I have collaborated with small-scale farmers across Colombia, particularly in Huila, Cauca, and Cundinamarca, implementing strategies to improve post-harvest processes, market positioning, and international trade opportunities. My expertise includes fermentation techniques, micro-lot differentiation, and specialty coffee commercialization, helping producers achieve higher-value placements in global markets. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Universidad del Norte and a Master’s in International Business from Hochschule Worms, Germany. My academic background, combined with hands-on industry experience, has allowed me to develop Niebla’s B2B strategy, targeting international clients and fostering partnerships with businesses and development organizations. Through Niebla, I integrate social impact, innovation, and consumer engagement, positioning the company as a key player in the specialty coffee market while supporting Colombian farmers in achieving economic and quality-driven sustainability.
