Patricia Forero

Patricia's diverse journey spans continents, marking a rich tapestry of cultural experiences. She first qualified as an architect in 1995 in Colombia, where she also worked for several years. Later, she immersed herself in England, making it her home in 2000 and pursuing an MA in building conservation at the University of York. ​Pat registered as a UK architect in 2007, Patricia brings a wealth of experience from prestigious architectural practices in the conservation field. Her clientele ranges from private individuals and developers to local authorities, charities, Parochial Church Councils, and the Crown Estate, encompassing projects with diverse needs and budgets. With over two decades of architectural expertise in the heritage sector, Patricia established The Architect Studio in Cambridgeshire. She specialises in bespoke conservation projects and focuses on revitalising historic buildings at risk. ​Patricia's core values are ingrained in sustainability, particularly evident in her efforts to preserve and renovate historical structures. One of her defining skills is her ability to attentively listen to clients and collaborate closely to translate their needs into robust designs. ​As a RIBA chartered architect and AABC accredited in building conservation, Patricia holds key roles, including inspecting architect for several dioceses. Beyond her professional pursuits, she actively contributes her time to 'Inspiring the Future' and the Cambridge Food Bank, embodying a commitment to the community and the future of architecture. ​Patricia holds an MSt in building conservation from the University of Cambridge, in addition to her other academic achievements. In 2023, she joined Kingston University as a visiting lecturer in their MSc in building conservation course, further extending her influence in shaping the future of architectural conservation.
