Christopher has over 20 years of progressive and comprehensive experience in marketing, public communications, social media and brand development, working for various United Nations agencies, government as well as the private sector. After graduating with his Masters in Communication from The University of Queensland, he joined Buzzword-Action PR in 2010. He devised and co-ordinated the Nescafe My Cup Bluetooth Film Festival, for Nestle Oman. The project was multi-platform and incorporated mobile and social media; a first for Oman. Nestle expanded the project regionally for 2011. He was Digital Media Director at MCS Action Dubai, and oversaw social media strategy and engagement for a range of clients including Nissan, Pizza Hut, Dubai Government, Sony, Abu Dhabi Tourism and Abu Dhabi Urban Planning Council. In 2024, he co-founded The New Standard, a full service PR and communications services agency serving international companies needing to position themselves better in the Latin American and Middle Eastern media landscape. He specialises in building, defending and growing client's brands through multi-faceted campaigns.
