Jorge Cardenas

Jorge Napoleon is a Peruvian civil engineer who studied his career at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, concluding it in 1994. He has an MBA which he completed in 2000 at the School of Industrial Organization of the Ministry of Industry, the oldest business school in Spain. With the final project of the Master, in 2001, he won the prize for the best R+D+i project in Barcelona and, formed the one-man companies A3P and Barcino Europea from where he supervised, as General Manager and with the collaboration of 200 workers, emblematic projects of the City of Barcelona such as the Gran Hotel Hesperia Tower, the Energy Recovery Plant of Sant Adria del Besos and the New Terminal of the International Airport of El Prat de Llobregat. In 2007 he joined AECOM Spain as Head of Supervision for the High Speed Railway section from Sant Julia de Ramis to Pontos in Girona and, in 2012, he assumed the representation of AECOM before the Barcelona Port Authority to supervise the new construction and conservation works of the Port of Barcelona: dikes, railways, administrative buildings, etc. He is the first employee of AECOM Peru and, in 2018 he assumes different roles in the company: Legal Representative, Transport Infrastructure Director and Project Manager for the Design of the New International Airport in the city of Lima.
