For the past 8 years, I've helped my Chinese employer find and build stable, profitable relationships with engineering vendors in Panama and the Central America/Caribbean region. Getting the Chinese vision, their approach and expectations across to local service providers is a considerable cultural and business challenge but those challenges are the ones I most thoroughly enjoy! Before that, I procured services and looked after the efficient operation of a 70+ employee office in central London. Maintaining facilities and operational requirements in the fast-paced, highly regulated business environment of London was also a great and enjoyable challenge. I thrive in aligning the services, products, and relationships needed for companies to operate and deliver their operational plans. Personally, I have a passion for intercultural experiences; from a young age till adulthood, I have had fulfilling and enriching experiences living and working in different countries: Peru, The Netherlands, Costa Rica, Poland and the UK. These days I call the Republic of Panama my home. I believe that the exposure to different cultures and environments have positively shaped my personality and professional profile allowing me to develop skills that have proven to be quite useful in outsourcing and procurement, I am: • A critical observer with a focus on finding solutions. • A resourceful and adaptable individual with a good level of flexibility to change and uncertainty. • Diplomatic and approachable even under difficult negotiations and problematic situations. • Always looking for the most cost-effective scenarios. • I can maintain an eye on details whilst keeping focus on strategic plans. • Always up for new challenges and finding the positive side to all sorts of situations.
