Jorge Cortes

Jorge is an active entrepreneur and social innovator with strong experience on international relations. Has served the community of south Florida in conjunction with the Colombian American Chamber of Commerce where he observed and studied the implementation of the free trade agreement between Colombia and USA. Jorge is currently building up a platform named Momentum to foster and empower innovation and social entrepreneurship among younger generations in South Florida and Latin America. Jorge believes that Americas’ sustainable future will serve as an example for the world in reference to crucial and important global issues. Through his multitude and varied work experience, Jorge is convinced that the region's leadership on the 21st Century will reach the highest standards of sustainability and responsible economic development. Jorge is passionate, peaceful and open to prosper ideas for impactful solutions as Logistics Officer of the United Nations Association/USA - Miami chapter, he is strongly committed to achieve the Millennium Development Goals of the United Nations.
