Develop systems for medical desktop since 1986. He began designing, developing and implementing the InfoMed Series© for SMEs and independent physicians, gaining experience in parameterization requirements that aligned interests of different medical specialties and styles of management accounting. In 1999 he began his international tour as a consultant, focusing on the connectivity of systems in the area of health. He is co-founder of SUEIIDISS (Uruguayan Society for Standardization, Exchange and Integration of Data and Information Health Services), which represents and develops the standard HL7®. He has presented conferences on multidisciplinary medical workflow, the meaning of being connected and layers of medical knowledge management. He is co-creator and implementer of the KW Foundation©, as technologies catalyst to enhance "the true power of the end user." Bioinformatics and knowledge sharing servers built on standards are driven by this initiative. In 2012 the KW Social Network© venture was awarded in Washington DC with the Laureate Computerworld Honors in the health category.
