Tijule Company Ltd is a 30 year old company that was founded by the late Dr. Juliet Newell, a food scientist with a vision and who ran the company for 28 years. It is a family owned company located in rural Jamaica and employees 80 full time staff and up to 250 seasonal workers. Approximately 80% of all workers are females. The company is committed to getting all raw material for products from the local farmers who depend on Tijule for their livelihood. The company is HACCP certified, FDA approved and in the progress of becoming FSSC 22000 certified.
