The Government of Belize has received funding from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for the Improving Efficiency, Quality and Access in the Belize Health System program and intends to apply part of the funds to the design, supply, installation and operational support of two modular wastewater treatment plants for the Southern Regional Hospital in Dangriga and the Northern Regional Hospital in Orange Walk.
The Ministry of Health and Welfare invites eligible bidders to submit sealed bids by November 11, 2025. Procurement will follow the IDB's International Competitive Bidding procedures and are open to all eligible bidders.
Qualification requirements include financial capacity, audited statements, and demonstrated experience in modular wastewater treatment plants, specialized disinfection technologies, and electrical and instrumentation work. Further details are provided in the tender documents.
