The Government of the Republic of Panama has received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) through Loan Agreement No. 4434-OC/PN to finance the Program for the Improvement of the Operational Management of the National Institute of Aqueducts and Sewers (IDAAN) in the Metropolitan Area of Panama, and it is proposed to use part of the funds to make the corresponding payments for the contracting of study services. design, improvements, rehabilitation, equipment and expansion of the supply system and the Roberto Reyna water treatment plant, located in the district of Chitré, province of Herrera.
The scope contemplates the design and construction by means of a lump sum single liability contract, with an execution period of nine hundred and sixty-five (965) calendar days, counted from the date indicated in the order to proceed.
The bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Request for Bids (RFS) procedures through International Public Bidding (LPI) established in the Policies for the Acquisition of Works and Goods financed by the Inter-American Development Bank (GN-2349-15) and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries, as defined in the Bidding Document.
