Zinwave is a global provider of a unique wideband active distributed antenna system (DAS) for in-building cellular coverage. The company has offices in US, UK, Asia and Australia and a network of strategic channel partnerships with systems integrators, operators and neutral hosts in EMEA, US, Asia-Pacific and Australasia. The company launched its first commercial product in 2008. Since that time it has built up an extensive portfolio of operational installations supporting public safety and cellular applications and services across diverse markets including industry & manufacture, healthcare, private enterprise, hospitality, public buildings, wholesale data centers, education and emergency services. Its patented DAS technology, developed in collaboration with leading research groups including Cambridge University (UK), is the only true wideband active DAS on the market, supporting any combination of services, regardless of protocol and modulation scheme between 150MHz-2700MHz on a single hardware layer. Its simple architecture, comprising only 3 components, eliminates the need for expensive and disruptive upgrades to existing infrastructures to accommodate LTE services, providing building owners/operators/neutral host providers with the lowest total-cost-of-ownership per installation. Zinwave was recently acquired by McWane Inc, a privately held manufacturing company based in the US and owners of a global group of wireless technology companies.
