LACHÓ CACAO offers a range of chocolate products for use in beverages, savory food, desserts, baking, fondue, and cocktails. For us chocolate is a nutritious food instead of just a sweet treat. We strive to extract all the wellness from the best Ecuadorian cacao, and keep as much of its minerals and antioxidants. The LACHÓ CACAO brand was born out of passion for Ecuadorian cacao, plus the interest to syncing contemporary lifestyles with cacao consumption. Created and developed by Lourdes Páez, winner of the 2015 National Culinary Award for her book "Ecuador Tierra del Cacao,". LACHÓ CACAO is a registered trademark owned by the company Alimentos Latinos del Cacao S.A., founded in October 2015. The company has a production plant in the town of Conocoto, while its administrative and sales offices are in Quito. The company is registered with the Ecuadorian Ministry of Production as MYPIMES (small enterprise No. 1792621895001). All our products are labeled with barcodes and comply with health notifications required by Ecuador’s national health regulatory agency (ARCSA). All our products are suitable for vegans and foodies as they are free from dairy, soy and gluten, and contain low sugar being an excellent source of energy for low-calorie diets. We named our range as Barista Collection after the world of specialty coffee, as we began development considering the needs of the baristas both at the coffee-shop and at home. The Barista Collection includes three products: LIQUID CHOCOLATE, DRINKING CHOCOLATE, and CACAO 100.
