We develop custom biometrics software to support biometric enrollment and identification systems for federal and commercial entities. Our software converts biometric images to the appropriate specifications accepted by each entity. We also offer an application that helps end-users package these files electronically for submission to the identification system. We also provide consulting and design services for biometric systems owned by the FBI, DoD, and DHS. Our core products were developed in-house and act as the middleware between image capture and database submission. Specifically, these biometric software development kits (SDKs) are state-of-the-art products that convert biometric images, no matter the collection method, into the appropriate ANSI/NIST-ITL, EBTS, Interpol, or NATO STANAG specifications. This conversion process allows any application to integrate with the FBI, DoD, DHS, Interpol, and NATO automated biometric identification systems (ABIS). By using our full suite of products, our customers are enabled with the tools to edit, modify, and visually validate biometric submissions, thus ensuring timely and accurate results. Lakota has designed, developed, and supported the three largest biometric systems in the US and also has experience with international systems. We believe our company has unmatched past performance and domain knowledge. This has allowed us to build superior products that ensure compliance with the ever-changing biometric standards and specifications. We are a small business with low operational costs, which allows us to remain competitive with pricing. We understand that each client has unique workflows and varying budget sizes, so our systems are designed to meet project scope, and we do not force our clients to use a “one-size-fits-all” product. Additionally, our software is vendor-agnostic, which means we can support many different makes and models of biometric collection hardware (e.g. fingerprint scanners) and database matchers as well.
