Infrastrutture S.p.A., (www.infrastrutture.eu), is a pioneer investor in renewables, and has been active since 1963 as developer, owner and investor in energy production. Guided by Pier Francesco Rimbotti the Group with head offices in Milan, is a leading actor in providing technical, commercial, financial, asset management and O&M services to partners and major corporations. The Group holds among the most significant track record, having participated in the development of over 15000MW, of which 400MW as principal sponsor in the renewable energy sector, focused on wind and photovoltaic technologies. In 1983, the Group Co-founder, Mr. Vittorio E. Rimbotti was awarded the highest recognition in the Italian Republic by then President of the country Carlo Azeglio Ciampi for his commitment to industrial development. Further Group development resulted in the opening in 2007 of branch offices in Florence, Ragusa and Rome with a Management and Staff with decades of specific expertise in technical and financial areas able to support the Group’s own 8 PV plants and its O&M activities which provides services to over 300MW throughout the country. The Group, is active internationally, where it has contributed to the development of over 5000MW through a network of partners in the energy and finance sector built over years of successful presence in the market. Infrastrutture S.p.A. invests dynamically in new technologies, and is very active in the area of “Research & Development” aiming to best support its clients and its own long-term investments. In October 2012, the Group extended its operations internationally, opening offices in Tokyo and with the formation of Hergo Sun Japan KK (HSJ KK – www.hergosunjapan.eu) which is able to take care of all project development stages of MSPP, from feasibility studies and authorization process, plant design and construction to commissioning and maintenance tasks, as well as the sale of electric energy and/or the FIT Price. HSJ KK has been the first non-Japanese company to be awarded a public tender.
