"The Financially Focused app is a one-stop platform helping Caribbean users move from debt to asset ownership. It combines smart budgeting tools, credit coaching, and investor-readiness training—all in one app. With donor’s investment, we’ll scale this digital solution to build wealth where it’s needed most." 1. Relevance (Why this Matters) The financial vulnerability of women aged 45+—especially those in MSMEs or transitioning post-employment—has long been overlooked. Facing job loss, economic shocks, and limited pension access, many are “asset-rich but cash-poor” with minimal digital literacy or access to tailored financial coaching. Traditional financial education fails this group: it’s too theoretical, too inaccessible, and lacks mechanisms to track real behavior change. This project delivers a digital, culturally relevant, compliance-meets-coaching solution that empowers women with practical financial skills, while enabling donors to track impact in real time. 2. Effectiveness (What the Project Will Achieve) Equip 1,000+ women aged 45+ with tools to improve financial literacy, build credit, grow savings, and formalize MSMEs. Deliver financial education via mobile-based micro-coaching paired with embedded tools for compliance and behavior tracking. Improve access to local financial systems by guiding users through formal registration, credit repair, and funding readiness. Achieve a 30% measurable increase in users' credit scores, formal compliance rates, and cash-flow tracking within the first 12 months. 3. Efficiency (How It Will Be Delivered) Digital-first model lowers cost per beneficiary and scales access. Utilizes existing financial coaching content, gamified and adapted to mobile. Local coaches and community orgs trained to onboard users at scale. Backend analytics platform provides donor dashboards and M&E. 4. Impact (What Changes Long-Term) Strengthens economic agency and financial security among aging female entrepreneurs. Reduces informal economic dependence by guiding women to formalize and fund businesses. Builds a data-rich case for policy and financial inclusion strategies for underserved women over 45. 5. Sustainability (Beyond the Grant) Revenue generated through partnerships with financial institutions, sponsors, and affiliate programs. Local trainers and ecosystem partners sustain outreach. Donor-funded infrastructure allows for future replication in other underserved regions. 6. Monitoring & Evaluation (How Progress Will Be Measured) In-app tracking of financial behaviors (e.g., credit score access, budget tracking, savings deposits, loan readiness). Quarterly impact reports for donors using anonymized data. Pre/post surveys for self-assessment of confidence, clarity, and compliance steps taken.
