Doce Pedaço was created in 2012 in Anil, a traditional neighborhood in the city of São Luís, from the care and love between mother and daughter. The then teacher Ana Luzia began to create her own cookie recipes to meet the dietary restrictions that her daughter had. The cookies served as a snack for the girl gained a proportion that Ana Luzia could never have imagined, and she quickly started receiving several orders from other parents and companies. With the success of the business, the teacher, who also took care of her parents and wanted to remain present, decided to set up her factory on the same land as the residence where she was born.
