Objeto social: el objetivo social de la asociación junta administradora del servicio de acueducto de la vereda el sendero, serán los de administrar y operar servicios públicos domiciliarios de un acueducto para el suministro de agua a sus suscriptores conforme a la ley 142 de 1994 y norma que la modifiquen o la reformen. Señalamos entre otras las siguientes actividades: a) Dotar de agua a cada una de las viviendas de los suscriptores, que cubre el sistema de acueducto, asumiendo la administración, operación y mantenimiento de estos servicios a través de una junta directiva nombrada por la asamblea general de suscriptores. b) promover la defensa y protección de los recursos de agua y las cuencas hidrográficas a través de la activa participación y formación de los suscriptores. c) gestionar ante las respectivas entidades oficiales y privadas que desarrollen trabajos de promoción con la comunidad, el apoyo requerido en lo relacionado con el estudio, diseño, construcción, mantenimiento, ampliaciones y reformas del sistema. d) gestionar los recursos y apoyo requeridos para la eficaz prestación del servicio, ante entidades territoriales que le contemplan dicho apoyo. e) motivar, formar y comprometer a los suscriptores para la administración y fiscalización de la prestación del servicio. f) adoptar las políticas y normas establecidas por las autoridades sanitarias y organismos encargados del saneamiento básico y dotación de agua potable. g) promover campañas de reforestación para conservar y manejar adecuadamente el recurso hídrico.
