A group of young independent professionals started CHAGUAR S.A. in 2005, driven by their desire to develop a company dedicated to the managing of farming operations, providing agricultural services, producing grains and meat, and exporting their end products. At the beginning, it was down to strategy that our activity unfolded in the North of the Salta Province – Department of San Martin-, spreading out over the years towards the province’s central region – the Anta Department. During the first phase, CHAGUAR S.A. devoted itself to sowing soya and different types of beans, later on including new products and specialties such as, amongst others, chia, quinoa, sesame seed, maize and sufflower seeds. From the very beginning, the goal of CHAGUAR S.A. was to develop within the world of farming a more modern concept of management and, on this basis, be able to offer third parties in the field of agriculture all-round management services and project implementation. Today the company strives to obtain quality agricultural products and services, maximizing productive utility and its profitability in all its different business units, with a pronounced social commitment and caring for the environment. As part of its expansion and growth process, CHAGUAR S.A. has a processing plant in Salta´s Pichanal district, where we classify and select all the grain produced on the farms under rigorous quality control, in line with current international standards.
