The International Coffee Women's Alliance - IWCA Brazil is a chapter of the IWCA (International Women's Coffee Alliance, in English), a non-profit organization that was created in 2003 from the meeting of women in the United States coffee industry with producers coffee in Nicaragua. The IWCA methodology is “success through localization”, that is, through the creation of chapters in producing and consuming countries. There are currently chapters in 22 countries around the world and several others have already expressed their intention to create their own.
