Super Rio Expofood 2025

The 34th SRE Super Rio Expofood was the first edition of the fair on the city's official calendar of events. For the second time, it hosted the Supermarket Convention of the Americas, reinforcing its reputation as the best and most innovative business event in the Americas.

Organized by the Supermarket Association of the State of Rio de Janeiro (ASSERJ) and Base Eventos, the 34th SRE Super Rio Expofood welcomed more than 68,000 visitors and 1,000 supermarket owners from 16 countries. During its three days, the event generated R$4.2 billion in business.

While some of the visitors strolled through the booths of more than 550 exhibiting brands, others updated their knowledge in the more than 12 hours of lectures and panels that occupied the stage of the Supermarket Convention of the Americas or had an immersive experience with major brands in Experience Square, one of the new features of this edition that featured an Instagrammable space and activations of the brands present, a total success with the public. The event also featured show classes taught by renowned chefs in the Gourmet Show space and offered visitors the opportunity for direct contact with producers in the Agro Space.
