Sobre mí
I'm Jorge Benigno Granda Gilces, a Business Management Engineer with a passion for International Business. With over 20 years of experience in foreign trade and logistics, I've had the opportunity to work on exciting projects and learn from a diverse range of challenges. I earned a Diploma in Business Administration, specializing in International Business, from the University of Buenos Aires/Argentina, and a degree in Foreign Trade from Universidad Laica Vicente Rocafuerte in Ecuador. My journey also took me to Chile, where I graduated as a Business Management Engineer from INACAP, which greatly expanded my global outlook and deepened my understanding of international trade. Throughout my career, I've been lucky to lead large projects and work in key positions where I managed complex operations and teams from all backgrounds. Teaching at the University of Guayaquil has been a fulfilling part of my career as well. I had the chance to share my knowledge with students in subjects like Foreign Trade, Marketing, and Negotiation Techniques. This role not only helped me pass on what I know but also gave me valuable experience in leadership and communication. Right now, I'm the Executive Director of the Plan Diversidad Association, where I focus on promoting human rights and providing support to vulnerable communities. This role has been a rewarding experience, teaching me the power of empathy and the importance of social responsibility in everything I do. I'm married with three wonderful kids who inspire me every day. Family is a huge part of my life, and they keep me grounded and motivated. When I'm not working, you can usually find me cycling or enjoying rock music in both Spanish and English. I'm also a big fan of sports—chess, soccer, and tennis are some of my favorites. All of these things—family, passions, and my career—come together to fuel my commitment to making a positive difference in both business and the community.
