Philip Morkel is an accomplished clean energy resources development leader. Deep experience in mining, oil & gas, renewable energy and power/nuclear engineering. He was appointed to the International Expert Advisory Group, sponsored by the World Bank, and was part of the team that developed the Management Prescription's for Lake Kivu Development, issued in June 2009. He has continued to support the program on a pro bono basis, committing thousands of hours in supporting the safety and environmental programs for Lake Kivu. He started Hydragas Energy in Canada to attract international project funding to Rwanda and the DRC for the project's development in a safe, economic and productive manner.
