Gabo Machado

Mining engineer specialized in Clay minerals, with master degrees in Geology/Advanced Clay Science, PhD in mineral engineering and 18 years of experience correlating geological/mining variables to processing performance, quality control or new product development. There are aspects that I believe defines me better as a professional: 1) Ten years as Industrial manager dealing with, prospective geology, mining operations, drilling-blasting, milling, mineral processing, procurement and R & D; mostly as an entrepreneur. 2) Seven years of scientific life among top universities and researchers, beginning with the Erasmus mundus MSc experience that led me to multiple master degrees and a unique multicultural experience. Followed by a Ph.D. working on a regional scale (MERCOSUL) from geology to applications in many Industries. 3) Last but not list, a holistic perspective after creating successful businesses from scratches but also learning from failed endeavors. A background forged in such a diverse environment has provided me with extraordinary communication and presentation skills, along with the energy and leadership to overcome any challenge.
