Agruquero Thermoplastics is serving the orthopedic industry since decades with thermoplastics sheets made from PE high and low density , PP, PETG and EVA . The sheets are available in our production plant in Bad Hall Austria or from central warehouse in Pinto (Madrid) Spain. • PE-HD High density Polyethylene .Rigid material. Especially low shrinkage. Example: Body jackets, rigid ferules. Temperature of application: 160º - 180º C • PE-LD Low density Polyethylene .The main characteristic is its flexibility. Therefore, ideal for applications where extreme movements have to be considered. Example: Neck protections, maintenance corset, ferules, corset closures, spinal orthesis. Temperature of application: 130º - 160º C • PP-H Polypropylene Homopolymer. Rigid + elasticity (more rigid than PPC) to a certain extend. Example: Dynamic lower extremity orthesis, body jackets. Temperature of application: 165º - 190 C • PP-C Polypropylene Copolymer. Rigid + elastic. For applications where rigidity and elasticity is very important. Less shrinkage than with PP-H. Example: Body jackets type “Boston”, where rigidity and elasticity is very important. Temperature of application: 165º - 185º C • PETG Transparent Polyester.Very rigid material. Example: Check sockets, etc. Temperature of application: approx. 160º C • EVA Ethylene vinyl acetat .Very flexible. Example: Flexible sockets, body jackets... Temperature of application: 130º - 140º C Blue, Natural, White and Black colour. Heating time: 2-3 minutes/mm wall thickness ISO 10993 - Skin Compatibility approved
