MARIARTS is a mexican brand dedicated to the creation of handmade macramé items and reusable items crafted by women from the municipality of Nezahualcóyotl. It was originally founded in 2021 as a strategy for self-care and emotional well-being in response to the pandemic.Since then, the creative and artisanal work we engage in has been essential for us—the women who are part of this project—as it has brought meaningful benefits to our mental and emotional health, as well as our economic empowerment.________________________________________What We CreateOur products focus on the creation of:- Plant hangers- Cat hammocks- Tote bags featuring macramé design elements- Stuffed dolls - Recyclable shopping bags with mexican designsThe materials we use are primarily of natural origin, such as cotton, and some are sourced from textile waste, in an effort to promote sustainability.________________________________________Our Style and IdentityOur designs are characterized by expressing a part of the Mexican essence, reflected through:•Vibrant colors•Abstract shapes•Distinctive textures of the materials and handwoven patterns we createEach piece reflects the cultural richness, creativity, and resilience of the women behind MARIARTS.
